Tandoori Chicken


 Another Indian classic...

Ingredients:
1 whole chicken (or pieces, if you want it skewered)
2 tbs low fat yogurt
1 tsp grated ginger
1-3 garlic cloves, crushed or grated
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp chilli powder
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp curry (Madras)
1 tsp oil
1 tsp lemon juice
(red food colouring if you like it red) 
Method:
Mix all ingredients and massage chicken with the mixture. Let it rest for 30 min. 
Preheat oven to 220*C, Place chicken on a dish, cook for 10 min , then lower temperature to  180*C and continue cooking for another 35-40 min. Serve with rice or naan and salad.

Tandori Pile

Potrebno:
1 cijelo pile (ili komadi )
2 K jogurta (cvrstog)
1 k djumbira, rendanog
1-3 cena bijelog luka, protisnuta ili sitno rendana
1/4 k crnog bibera
1/4 k chili praha
2 k paprike crvene
1 k kari praha (Madras)
1 k ulja
1 k soka limuna
(crvena boja za hranu - ako zelite crveniju boju) 
Nacin:
Pomijesajte sve sastojke i izmasirajte pile; ostavite marinirati 30 minuta.
Ukljucite rernu na 220*C, postavite pile na posudu za pecenje i pecite 10 minuta. Smanjite tenperaturu na 180*C i nastavite peci jos 35-40 minuta. Servirajte sa rizom ili naan hljebom / kruhom i salatom.

Recipe - Lebkuchen
From following recipe I got exactly 100 small and 1 big hart!
Ingredients:
5 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
3 tsp ginger powder
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp cardamom
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp black pepper
zest of 1 lemon
1 cup butter, soft
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup molases
1/2 cup honey
For decorating - melted dark and white chocolate

Recept - Lebkuchen
Od sljedece kolicine dobila sam tacno 100 manjih i 1 veliko srce!
Sastojci:
5 solja brasna (750 gr)
1/2 k soli
3 k djumbira u prahu
2 k cimeta
1 k karanfilica
1/2 kardamoma
1/2 muskatnog oraha
1/2 crnog bibera
korica 1 limuna
1 solja maslaca (250 gr), omeksalog
1/2 solje braon secera
1 jaje
1/2 solje molase
1/2 solje meda
za dekoraciju- otopljena tamna i bijela cokolada
Nacin:
Sigurna sam da znate sta vam je raditi!


Dukkah



Egypt's ancient food; Delicious and nutritious!

Ingredients:
1/3 cup hazelnuts (or other nuts)roasted
1/4 cup sesame seeds, roasted
2 teas ground coriander
2 teas ground cumin
1/2 teas black pepper, freshly grounded
1 teas sea salt
Flat bread and olive oil to serve
Method:
Mix all the spices and process until satisfied with texture. Freshly roasted nuts will give you more aromatic mix.
Dip the bread into olive oil, and then into Dukkah.
Perfect as appetiser; or you can use it for sprinkling on salads, or as coating for fish and meat.


Dukah - hrana starog Egipta

Potrebno:
1/3 solje ljesnika (ili drugih oraha)pecenih
1/4 solje sezamovog sjemena, propecenog
2 kasicice korijander praha
2 kasicice kima u prahu
1/2 kasicice crnog bibera, svjeze mljevenog
1 kasicica (morske) soli
Hljeb (fokaca ili sl)i maslinovo ulje za servirati.

Metod:
Stavite sve zacine u elektricnu sjeckalicu ili avan i sjeckajte/tucajte dok ne budete zadovoljni sa teksturom. Svjeze peceni ljesnici i sezam ce dati bolje rezultate.
Umocite hljeb u ulje, a zatim u Dukah.
U mojoj porodici ovo obozavamo kao 'predjelo' ili meze uz pice.
Moze se koristiti umjesto mrvica, kod 'pohovanja' mesa ili ribe. Posuto po slati dodaje ukus i hranjivu vrijednost.
