Tiramisu Torte



EASY and delightful! This is one of 3 that I made past weekend...all for young Birthday girls.

Ingredients:
Sponge-
6 eggs
1 cup sugar
2  tsp instant coffee
2 tsp cocoa
(1/4 cup hot water to melt coffee and cocoa)
100 g flour
Syrup-
3/4  cup coffee (sweetened) + 1 tbs rum or other liqueur
Cream-
250 g Philadelphia cream cheese, room temp
300 ml double cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
80 g Icing sugar
For decorating-
cocoa and shaved chocolate
Method:
Preheat oven to 180*C,  prepare 22-23 cm spring form tin.
Beat eggs and sugar until thick and fluffy. Lower the speed then add melted coffee/ cocoa mixture. Fold in flour (by hand). Bake for 25-30 min.  Take out, cool on a rack, then cut in half to get 2 sponges.
Mix coffee with rum, spoon over both sponges.
Beat cream cheese with sugar and vanilla. Ad eggs, one by one. Take cream out of fridge; add to cream cheese mixture. Beat until incorporated and thick.
Place a sponge on a serving dish, spoon 1/2 of prepared cream, follow with another sponge and rest of the cream. Decorate with cacao and chocolate shaves. Refrigerate for 1 hour + before serving.




Tiramisu Torta

Jednostavna za napraviti i sasvim odusevljavajuca...Jedna od 3 koje sam napravila proslog vikenda - sve za rodjendane djevojcica!

Potrebno:
Biskvit-
6 jaja
1 solja secera 
2 k instant kafe
2 k kakaa
(1/4 solje vrele vode za kafu/ kakao)
100 gr brasna
Sirup-
3/4 solje jake kafe (zasladjene) + 1 K ruma ili drugog aromaticnog pica
Krem fil-
250 gr krem sira, sobna temp
300 ml masnije pavlake (50% masnoce)
1 k vanile
2 jaja
80 gr secera u prahu
Za dekoraciju-
kakao i strugana cokolada
Nacin:
Ukljucite rernu, pripremite kalup (22-23cm)
Mutite jaja sa secerom, dok ne postane gusto. Smanjite brzinu miksera, dodajte kafu i kakao rastopljene u vodi. Rucno sjedinite i brasno.
Pecite 25-30 min. Izvadite, prohladite i razrezite na 2 sloja.
Pomijesajte kafu sa rumom. Kasikom nanesite na oba sloja.
Mutite krem sir sa secerom i vanilom. Ubacite jedno po jedno jaje.
Izvadite pavlaku iz frizidera, pa i nju ubacite u smjesu. Sjedinite muteci mikserom. 
Postavite jedan sloj na posluzavnik, stavite 1/2 pripremljene kreme. Postavite drugi sloj i preko njega drugu polovinu kreme. Ukrasite kakaom i struganom cokoladom. Rashladite u frizideru najmanje 1 sat prije sluzenja.

Torte 'Panama'


Choco-coffee taste of this torte is irresistible!
For my friend - Happy Birthday Ann!

Ingredients:
Sponge-
7 eggs
150 g sugar
60 g cacao
150 g walnuts, grounded
50 g bread crumbs
1 tbs rum
Cream-
150 g butter, softened
150 g icing sugar
1 egg
1 teas vanilla extract
70 g dark chocolate, melted
50 ml strong coffee (instant is OK)
Method:
Preheat oven to 170*C; prepare a round cake tin (22 cm).
Whisk eggs with sugar until fluffy. Sift cocoa on top, add walnuts and crumbs (with rum). Fold in gently. Bake 25-30 min, or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.
Cool on a wire rack; then cut sponge into 2 layers.
For cream- mix sugar, egg and butter until soft and creamy. Add melted chocolate, vanilla and coffee. Spread each layer with this cream, leaving a bit for sides.
Put better layer on top and decorate with melted chocolate / walnuts. Refrigerate for 1 hour before slicing.

Panama Torta

Za rodjendan moje prijateljice Ane!

Potrebno:
Za biskvit-
7 jaja
150 g šećera
60 g kakaa
150 g oraha, mljevenih
50 g mrvica kruha / hljeba
1 K ruma
Za kremu-
150 g maslaca, omeksalog
150 g šećera u prahu
1 jaje
1 Vanilin šećer (ili 1 k vanila ekstrakta)
70 g istopljene tamne čokolade
50 ml jake crne kafe (instant je OK)
Nacin:
Ukljucite rernu na 170*C, pripremite 22 cm obruc za torte.
Umutite jaja sa secerom da dobijete cvrstu, pjenusavu masu. Iskljucite mikser, dodajte kakao, orase i mrvice sa rumom. Rukom lagano sjedinite masu. Prespite u obruc i pecite 25-30 min, ili dok zabodena cackalica ne izadje vani cista. Prohladite biskvit, pa ga prerezite na pola da dobijete 2 sloja.
Za kremu- umutite jaje sa secerom i maslacem. Dodajte istopljenu cokoladu, vanilu i kafu. Dobro umutite , pa ovime premazite oba sloja torte i okolo. Postavite bolji sloj na povrsinu i ukrasite tortu sa cokoladom / orasima.
Hladite 1 sat u frizideru prije rezanja.

Mocha Squares


Another old recipe...very economical! For those who love taste of coffee in cakes.

Ingredients:
2 eggs
1 cup + 2 tbs sugar
2 2/3 cups flour
2/3 cups milk
150 g butter, melted
2 teas baking powder
1 tbs cacao
1 teas instant coffee
2 tbs vanilla sugar
Glaze-
4 tbs butter, melted
1 1/3 cups icing sugar
2 tbs vanilla sugar
1/4 cup strong coffee
1 tbs cocoa
Coconut, dessicated for sprinkling
Method:
Preheat oven to 180*C; prepare a baking tin (22 X 32 cm).
Beat eggs with sugar, until fluffy. Add flour (with baking powder), milk and butter alternatively. Mix in coffee, cacao and vanilla sugar. Pour into the baking dish and bake for 30 min.
Meanwhile, prepare glaze.
Mix butter, icing sugar and hot coffee, add other ingredients. Mix well.
When cake ready, take out and pour the glaze over it. Let it cool, sprinkle with coconut and slice into squares.

Moka Kocke

Recept iz nekog starog magazina; vjerovatno 'Svijet' ili 'Mila'.

Potrebno:
2 jaja
3 dl secera
4,5 dl brasna
1,5 dl mlijeka
150 gr otopljenog maslaca
2 k praska za pecivo
1 K kakaa
1 k instant kafe
2 K vanila secera
Glazura-
4 K maslaca, otopljenog
3,5 dl secera u prahu
2 K vanila secera
4-6 K jake kafe crne
1 K kakaa
kokosovo brasno za posuti
Nacin:
Ukljucite rernu na 180*C; pripremite pleh (32 X 22cm).
Mutite jaja sa secerom, dodajte maslac, mlijeko, brasno i ostalo (naizmjenicno i po malo dok sve ne utrosite - mijesajte rucno). Pecite oko 30 min.
Pripremite preljev; Pomijesajte sve sastojke sa vrelom kafom i dobro promijesajte.
Peceni kolac preliti dok je jos topao. Prohladite, pospite kokosom i rezite na kocke.

Walnut, Coffee and Caramel Scrolls


Wonderful combination of flavors

Ingredients:
Dough-
1 3/4 cups SR flour
1 tbs sugar
25 g butter, cold
2/3 cups milk
Filing-
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 teas instant coffee, melted in 2 tbs hot water
50 g butter
1/2 cup walnuts, cut into pieces
Dressing-
1 teas instant coffee
1 teas hot water
1/3 cup icing sugar
Method:
Swich your oven to 180*c, prepare 22 cm tin.
First prepare filing- Mix coffee, brown sugar and butter, set aside, along with walnuts. Dough- Mix flour and butter with your fingers (or food processor), add other ingredients and knaed a soft dough. Dust with flour and roll out to 20 X 30 cm. Spread filing (leaving edge og 2 cm without it)- brush with water); roll into a log, and cut into 10-12 pieces. Put into tin and bake 25 min, or until golden and crispy.
Meanwhile, mix all ingredients for dressing. Take cake out on a plate and drizzle it with coffee/sugar mix.

Ruzice sa orasima, kafom i karamel prelivom

Potrebno:
Tijesto-
i 3/4 solje samodizajuceg brasna (vidi objasnjenje)
1 kasika secera
25 gr putera iz hladnjaka
2/3 solje mlijeka
Premaz-
1/4 solje braon secera
2 kasicice instant kafe, otopljene u 1-2 kasike vrele vode
50 gr putera
1/2 solje oraha, grubo sjeckanih
Preljev-
1 kasicica instant kafe
2 kasicice vrele vode
1/3 solje secera u prahu
Priprema:
Ukljucite rernu na 180*C, pripremite 22 cm okrugli pleh.
Pripremite premaz tako sto cete secer, kafu i puter pomijesati. Orasi neka su spremni.
Tijesto- brasno i puter trljajte vrhovima prstiju (ili u multipraktiku), dodajte secer i mlijeko dok ne dobijete glatko tijesto. Rastanjite na povrsinu od 20 X 30cm.
Pokrijte sa pripremljenim premazom, pospite sa orasima. Zarolajte kao rolat ( 1,5 cm tijesta ostavite nepremazan, samo ovlazen vodom).
Izrezite na 10-12 jednakih dijelova , u ovisnosti o velicini kalupa. Stavite u kalup i pecite 25 min, dok ne porumeni. Oblikujte prema zelji i mogucnosti!
U medjuvremenu, pripremite preljev;izmijesjte sve sastojke do glatke mase!
Kad je peceno, prerucite u tanjir za posluzivanje i prelijte!

Tiramisu Ice Cream Torte


My son Vigor is 13!

Ingredients:
1 sponge cake, bought or made (4 eggs, 6 tbsp sugar, 4 tbsp flour, 1 tbsp corn flour; I added 1 tsp instant coffee), cut horizontally in 2
1 cup strong coffee with 3 tsp sugar
1L (4 cups) coffee ice cream
Chocolate and cocoa for decorating
Method:
Take ice cream out of fridge to soften. Prepare cake tin (sponge has to fit in it), cover with plastic foil.
Spoon/brush coffee over each 1/2 of sponge cake. Mix ice cream well, until you achieve spreadable texture. Place 1 sponge into tin, spread 1/2 of ice cream,place another sponge, press slightly, the spread the rest of ice cream on top. Put in freezer for 2 hours. Make chocolate decorations/ shavings - your choice.
When torte has hardened, dust with cocoa and place decorations on top.

Tiramisu Sladoled Torta

Potrebno:
1 biskvit za torte, kupljen ili napravljen (od 4 jaja, 6 kasika secera, 4 kasike brasna, 1 kasikom 'Gustina'; dodala sam 1 kasicicu instant kafe), prerezanu na pola
1 solja jake kafe, sa 3 kasicice secera
1L (4 solje) sladoleda od kafe
Cokolada i kakao za ukrasavanje
Nacin:
Izvadite sladoled iz zamrzivaca da omeksa. Pripremite obruc za torte u koji biskvit uklapa; oblozite folijom/celofanom.
Svaku polovicu biskvita prelijte (kasikom) sa kafom. Stavite 1 biskvit na dno kalupa, prerucite 1/2 sladoleda. Preko stavite drugi biskvit, malo pritisnite, pa onda i preostalu 1/2 sladoleda. Smjestite u zamrzivac na 2 sata. Pripremite vase cokoladne dekoracije, po vasem izboru.
Kada se torta stisnula, pospite kakao i ukrasite cokoladom.

Two-toned coffee biscuits




A simple way to make your biscuits look more interesting.

Ingredients:
1 teas instant coffee
1,5 tbs boiling water
250 g butter, softened
140 g caster sugar
1 egg yolk
350 g flour
1 teas vanilla
3 tbs cocoa powder
Method:
Melt coffee in boiling water. Put it in a mixing bowl, along with butter and sugar. Mix it until fluffy; add egg yolk and vanilla, mix again. Add flour and make a soft dough. Divide in 2. One part 'colour' with cocoa. Wrap in glad-wrap and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes. Roll out each dough, and cut shapes.
Put them on a baking dish (lined with silicon paper), then out of each shape cut smaller circle (or other shape) and switch into the different colour dough. Bake for 10 min on 170*C.





Dvobojni keksi sa ukusom kafe

Potrebno:
1 kasicica instant kafe
1,5 kasika vrele vode
250 gr putera
140 gr secera
1 zumance
350 gr brasna
1 kasicica vanile
3 kasike kakaa
Nacin:
Umijesajte kafu u vrelu vodu, pa ubacite u posudu sa puterom i secerom. Miksajte neko vrijeme, zatim dodajte zumanjak, vanilu - jos promijesajte i brasno -umijesite mekano tijesto. Podijelite tijesto, jedan dio obojite sa kakaom, pa ostavite hladiti 20-30 minuta. Razvaljajte i vadite kolacice zeljenog oblika. Poredajte ih na pleh preko papira za pecenje, zatim iz svakog keksa izvadite manji oblik i premjestite u keks suprotne boje (ja sam koristila napravu za 'tufahije'- za izbacivanje srede iz jabuke). Pecite 10 min na 170*C.
